5 Kalima In Sinhala — [patched]

The (or Kalimah ) are short Islamic declarations of faith. While some Islamic traditions teach 6 Kalimas , many South Asian communities (including Sri Lankan Muslims) focus on 5 key Kalimas :

This third Kalima is the "Glorification" of Allah, combining four powerful phrases of praise and remembrance known as "Tasbih," "Tahmid," "Tahlil," and "Takbir". It glorifies Allah's perfection, thanks Him, reaffirms His oneness, and declares His greatness. The final part, "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah," acknowledges that all power and ability to avoid sin and do good comes solely from Allah. This Kalima cultivates humility and complete reliance on the Divine.

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ وَلَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ 5 kalima in sinhala

ලා ඉලාහ ඉල්ලල්ලාහු වහ්දහූ ලා ශරීක ලහූ, ලහුල් මුල්කු වලහුල් හම්දු, යුහ්යී වයුමීතු, බියදිහිල් කයිරු, වහුව අලා කුල්ලි ශෛයින් කදීර්

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ شَيْئًا وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ، تُبْتُ عَنْهُ وَتَبَرَّأْتُ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالشِّرْكِ وَالْكَذِبِ وَالْغِيبَةِ وَالْبِدْعَةِ وَالنَّمِيمَةِ وَالْفَوَاحِشِ وَالْبُهْتَانِ وَالْمَعَاصِي كُلِّهَا، وَأَسْلَمْتُ وَأَقُولُ: لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ The final part, "La hawla wa la quwwata

අල්ලාහ් පිවිතුරුය, සියලු ප්‍රශංසා අල්ලාහ්ටමය. අල්ලාහ් හැර වෙනත් දෙවියෙක් නැත. අල්ලාහ් අති ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨය. අති උතුම් වූ අල්ලාහ්ගේ උදව්වෙන් තොරව කිසිදු ශක්තියක් හෝ බලයක් නැත.
