Performance tips

PowerShape 2020 introduced several key improvements over previous versions:

: Read and accept the Autodesk License and Services Agreement.

Choose the 2020 version and the required language.

The installation wizard will open automatically. Click "Install" on the main screen.

Navigate directly to the Autodesk Management Portal and log in using your registered enterprise or individual credentials.

Once the installer file has finished downloading, you are ready to begin the installation.

If you had an active subscription or maintenance plan in 2020:

: Upon launch, the Autodesk licensing manager will open.

: Click the version drop-down and choose 2020 . Choose Method : Select your preferred download method:

: 64-bit multi-core processor, such as Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7.

: Click the "Install" button. The installation process will begin and may take several minutes to complete.

Note: While PowerShape 2020 was originally tested on Windows 7, Autodesk no longer supports Windows 7 as of early 2020, making Windows 10 the safer choice for stability. How to Download PowerShape 2020

Once the package is downloaded, the installation process is standard Autodesk fare, but there are nuances to be aware of.
