I review approximately 120-150 slides per day (99% Dermpath). The digital slides are of a SUPERIOR RESOLUTION and the scanning time is also short. Primary punch and shave biopsies, are scanned in ~1 minute each. Excision sections (larger tissue) scan at about 2 minutes per slide. On average, we can scan 6 sets of slides in 8-10 minutes. I have worked on a number of Digital Pathology platforms, the MorphoLens scans are by far the best I have worked with from a resolution and quality perspective.

Scanning Modes

Live Microscopy Mode for Rapid on-site evaluation
#1 - Live Microscopy mode with continuous Z-stack
Uses dual objective switching system where
api 11p pdf
4X objective does an initial whole slide scan and serves as a navigation map
api 11p pdf
40X objective is used to fetch real-time images as the remote user navigates across 4X preview scan
Offers 2 focusing modes
api 11p pdf
Continuous Focus for Tissue section slides (recommended for Frozen Section remote reporting)
api 11p pdf
Continuous Z-stack for Cytology smear slides (recommended for any slide with overlapping cells)
Live microscopy is preferred over other modes where one needs the ability to start the diagnosis immediately after slide preparation
Whole Slide Imaging WSI with AI enabled tools
#2 - Whole Slide Imaging (WSI)

The classical scanning mode where the variation of a focal plane if any is pre-calculated with a focus map and later the motorized XY stage captures optimally focused images by translating across the region of the scanning.

Uses single 40X or 20X objective combined with a secondary overhead camera for capturing preview (thumbnail) of the full slide including the barcode area.

Whole slide imaging is preferred over other modes when exhaustive image capture is needed for deferred access.

Volume Scanning Mode for telecytology
#3 - Volume Scanning

An all powerful scanning mode where multiple images covering all focal planes are captured at every field. The end result is essentially a whole slide scan mixed with pre-captured Z-stack at every position.

Similar to WSI mode, Volume scanning uses a single 40X or 20X objective combined with a secondary overhead camera for capturing preview (thumbnail) of the full slide including the barcode area.

Volume scanning is preferred over WSI when exhaustive image capture is needed for slides with overlapping cells such as Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy slides, Pap smear slides etc.

Api 11p Pdf [repack] File

Includes requirements for attached components such as gas coolers, water coolers, scrubbers, exhaust silencers, control panels, and piping.

It covers packaged, skid-mounted, reciprocating compressors—both separable and integral. These systems typically include the compressor, driver (gas engine or electric motor), cooling systems, and all necessary auxiliary piping and controls.

Components are smaller; often designed for rapid field replacement or modular overhaul.

Adherence to strict safety standards minimizes the risk of accidents, leaks, or explosions. api 11p pdf

Provides a standardized document for purchasing, allowing for clear communication between operators and packagers.

After more than 26 years, API 11P was revised. The third edition, , represents a significant modernization of the standard. Developed over more than six years by an API task group, this new edition introduces several major changes:

Most major oil companies and engineering firms maintain enterprise subscriptions to standard databases, giving employees direct, legal access to the latest revisions of the API 11P PDF. Includes requirements for attached components such as gas

The standard outlines the necessary material grades for components exposed to various gas compositions and pressures, ensuring long-term durability in harsh environments.

Since I cannot directly open or host a PDF, I have structured this as a to help you navigate the official API 11P document effectively.

Be cautious of third-party document-sharing sites offering free downloads of API standards. These files are often outdated revisions, incomplete, or bundled with malicious software. Relying on an outdated version can lead to costly design errors and project non-compliance. Components are smaller; often designed for rapid field

If you are looking for a summary or specific technical data without buying the book, you can search for "API 11P datasheet" or "API 11P summary." Many equipment manufacturers publish datasheets that reference the standard, which can often be found as free PDFs online.

Because these machines handle flammable, high-pressure gases, a mechanical failure can lead to catastrophic accidents, financial loss, or environmental disasters. The API 11P standard was established to create a uniform engineering framework that minimizes these risks. A PDF copy of this standard allows engineers to quickly cross-reference design tolerances, material specifications, and testing protocols directly from the field or office. Key Technical Scope of API 11P

While both cover reciprocating compressors, they serve different operational tiers: API 11P (Packaged) API 618 (Refinery) Upstream / Oilfield Production Downstream / Refinery / Chemical Design Speed Typically High-Speed (Separable/Belt-driven) Low to Medium Speed (Highly engineered) Engineering Standardized, skid-mounted Custom, highly flexible, high efficiency Vibration General field-gas limits Stringent, specialized limits 📄 Accessing the Standard

If your project is – API 11P is correct.

: The 3rd Edition includes updated Data Sheets specifically tailored for procurement and initial purchase.
